BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's soccer team will compete against Carthage College in a College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin match Saturday, Oct. 19. The Titans are coming off a season-high goal performance at North Park University, Oct. 12, when they overpowered NPU, 7-0. IWU is currently 7-5-0 with a 2-1 record in CCIW play.
In the all-time series, the Titans have a 17-9-4 advantage over the Lady Reds, with IWU winning 11 out of the last 13 meetings. Carthage holds a 5-5-2 record going into this match and a 2-0-1 conference mark, with its last match being a 1-nil win over North Central College.
Sophomore Caelyn Steffens (Normal, Ill.-Normal Community), who was recently named CCIW Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season, leads all CCIW players in points (17) and goals scored (7). Junior
