BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's soccer team will compete against Carthage College in a College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin match Saturday, Oct. 19. The Titans are coming off a season-high goal performance at North Park University, Oct. 12, when they overpowered NPU, 7-0. IWU is currently 7-5-0 with a 2-1 record in CCIW play.

In the all-time series, the Titans have a 17-9-4 advantage over the Lady Reds, with IWU winning 11 out of the last 13 meetings. Carthage holds a 5-5-2 record going into this match and a 2-0-1 conference mark, with its last match being a 1-nil win over North Central College.

Sophomore Caelyn Steffens (Normal, Ill.-Normal Community), who was recently named CCIW Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season, leads all CCIW players in points (17) and goals scored (7). Junior Cameron Hindel (Batavia, Ill.-Batavia HS) has tallied 13 points and five goals on the season and senior Flower Edington (Wilmette, Ill.-New Trier Township HS) has eight points via four goals coming into the match.
