BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University volleyball team looks to build off a convincing win over Millikin University, Sept. 27, when it travels to Waukesha, Wis. for a College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin clash with Carroll University Wednesday night, Oct. 2. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Van Male Fieldhouse.
The Titans trek north with a 1-1 conference record following its 3-0 sweep of Millikin. Meanwhile, the Pioneers are in search of their first league win of the year and sit at 0-2 in CCIW play. Carroll dropped a five-set heartbreaker, Sept. 18, before suffering a sweep at Augustana, Sept. 25.Â
Wednesday's league battle will be the 10th all-time meeting between Illinois Wesleyan and Carroll. The Titans are a perfect 9-0 against the Pioneers in the previous nine meetings.

Jessica McCall (Wayne, Ill.-Wheaton St. Francis HS) leads the Titans with 129 kills this season, and ranks seventh in the conference with 2.74 kills per set. Sophomore
Madi Corey (Frankfort, Ill.-Lincoln-Way East HS) is fifth in the CCIW with 6.40 assists per set, and has notched 301 assists through 13 matches. Freshman
Evy Makris (Orland Park, Ill.-Sandburg HS) is top on the team with 33 blocks and is slotted ninth in the CCIW with 0.70 rejections per set, while sophomore
Amber Juarez (Bloomington, Ill.-Normal U High) has registered 173 digs at libero for 3.68 digs per set, a mark that is seventh-best in the league.
