DECATUR, Ill. -- The No. 18-ranked Illinois Wesleyan volleyball team rolled past the No. 3-ranked Wittenberg University Tigers in three sets at the Millikin Midseason Showcase on Friday, Sept. 28, in Decatur, Ill.
The Titans won by scores of 25-20, 25-10, 25-22 to improve to 11-5 overall while the Tigers are now 10-2. Illinois Wesleyan had a .333 hitting mark with 49 kills and 12 errors in 111 tries while Wittenberg had a .163 hitting percentage with 29 kills and 13 errors in 98 attempts.
In the 15-point second set win, IWU hit .455 with 21 kills and Wittenberg had only five kills with five errors in 27 tries for a .000 percentage.

Rachel Burkman led the Titans with 16 kills and had two blocks and six digs while senior
Tyler Brown added 13 kills, three service aces and had 10 digs.

Leah Seielstad had 25 assists and freshman
Madi Corey made 15 assists and two aces while freshman libero
Amber Juarez led IWU with 18 digs.

Heidi Dague added seven kills and had a team-high four blocks.
