BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The Illinois Wesleyan volleyball team, ranked No. 18 in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association Division III poll, swept a three-set match from Elmhurst College, 25-17, 25-11, 25-12, at the Shirk Center on Wednesday, Sept. 19.

The Titans are 6-5 overall and the Bluejays slipped to 4-8. It was the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin opener for both squads.
Illinois Wesleyan had a .284 hitting percentage with 36 kills in 88 attempts. Seniors
Tyler Brown and
Rachel Burkman led the way with eight kills while Brown had 17 digs and sophomore
Jessica McCall added 10. Senior
Leah Seielstad had a team-high 17 assists and freshman
Madi Corey had 13.
What's Next?
Illinois Wesleyan hosts a seven-team Holiday Inn Express Classic II this Friday and Saturday. IWU meets Trinity (Texas) at 7:30 p.m. Friday (Sept. 21) and plays Texas Lutheran (10:30 a.m.) and Williams College (3:30 p.m.) on Saturday.
