United Soccer Coaches Preseason Rankings 2018

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The Illinois Wesleyan women's soccer team is No. 23 in the preseason Division III poll announced by the United Soccer Coaches on Tuesday, August 7.

The Titans, who were 17-5 last season and have played in the NCAA championships for the past five years, open their season under new head coach Tony Dulak on Friday, August 31, with a 4:30 p.m. home game against Hope College.

Five of IWU's 2018 opponents are also among the USC top 25, including No. 2 University of Chicago, No. 8 Ohio Northern, No. 9 Wisconsin-LaCrosse, No. 10 Washington U. and No. 15 Wheaton.

Defending national champion Williams is the No. 1 team in the preseason rankings.
