Kara Bischoff in the top of the seventh inning to give Illinois Wesleyan a 6-5 win over Lake Forest and salvage a split of a doubleheader on Wednesday, April 11 in Lake Forest, Ill.
The No. 16-ranked Titans, who lost game one by a 10-4 score, are now 16-7 overall while the Foresters are 16-8.
With two outs in the seventh, Bischoff and sophomore
Ally Wiegand singled before Josten's single to rightfield scored what proved to be the winning run.

Shelby Fulk had a two-run home run in the third and a run-scoring double in the fourth to account for three IWU runs batted in. Junior
Jillian Runyon had a double and a triple for two of IWU's 10 hits.
Wiegand (8-2) got the win in relief of starter
Brea Walker, pitching the final 3 1/3 innings and allowing one run on one hit while fanning nine.
Game one got out of hand early as the Foresters score three in the first, five in the second and two more in the third to surge to a 10-2 lead. Lake Forest freshman shortstop Hannah Kalnicky hit a three-run home run and a grand slam home run for seven RBI.

Maggie Graham smacked a two-run homer in the first inning and Josten had a fourth inning double and a solo home run in the sixth.
