UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio -- The Illinois Wesleyan men's basketball team's run in the NCAA Division III tournament was ended in the first round with a 72-68 loss to College of Wooster in University Heights, Ohio on Friday, March 2.
The Titans' season ends with a 19-8 record while the Scots advance to round two with a 22-6 mark.

Brady Rose had 31 points to lead IWU while sophomore
Alex O'Neill had 11 points and snared a career-high 14 rebounds as the Titans won the rebound war, 44-37. Junior
Colin Bonnett also scored 11.
Danyon Hempy led Wooster with 20 points and Reece Dupler added 15. Alex Baptiste got a team-high 12 boards.
The Titans trailed 8-0 early before going on an 11-0 run to take an 11-8 lead with 14:39 to play in the half. IWU forged its largest lead of six points at 17-11 with 12:29 before halftime. The Scots tied the game at 21-21 and went on to take a four-point 35-31 lead at the break.
But IWU got no closer than two points the remainder of the game, trailing by as many as 10.
