D-III Version of March Madness Hits as Titan Teams Play in NCAA Tournaments

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The Illinois Wesleyan men's and women's basketball teams will get their postseasons underway with games on Friday in their respective NCAA Division III national championships. Go here for links to live streaming and live stats for all weekend games.

After an absence of two years, the Illinois Wesleyan men's basketball team will play in the 2018 NCAA Division III basketball championships, opening against the College of Wooster at 5:30 p.m. ET on Friday, March 2, in the first round inside the Tony DeCarlo Varsity Center on the campus of John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio (suburban Cleveland).
At 7:30 p.m. ET, the host school John Carroll (23-5) will play Thomas More (23-5) in the other first round game with the winners to meet Saturday at 7 p.m. ET.
 
The No. 14-ranked Illinois Wesleyan women's basketball team (24-3) will host games at the Shirk Center this weekend in the 2018 NCAA Division III basketball championships, playing Marietta (24-4) in the first round at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 2.
No. 7-ranked Trine (24-3) and No. 12-ranked DePauw (25-2) will play in the 5 p.m. first round game on Friday with the winners of each to meet on Saturday night at 7 p.m.
