BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- Five players scored in double figures as the Illinois Wesleyan men's basketball team soared to a 93-70 nonconference win over Anderson University at the Shirk Center on Wednesday, Dec. 19.
The Titans snapped a three-game losing streak and improved to 8-3 overall while the Ravens fell to 3-7.
Senior
Brady Rose led the way with 23 points while senior
Colin Bonnett added 16. Sophomore
Grant Wolfe and freshman
Peter Lambesis each scored 12 and junior
Alex O'Neill had 10 points with seven rebounds.
Lambesis was the Titans' leading rebounder with eight as IWU held a convincing 37-27 advantage on the boards.
Cole Hartman scored 22 points and had seven rebounds to lead Anderson, who was guilty of 18 turnovers compared to only nine for IWU.
What's Next?
Illinois Wesleyan's next game will be in the Cal Lutheran Holiday Classic in Thousand Oaks, Calif., on Friday, Dec. 28 against No. 4-ranked Whitman, followed by a game the next day against No. 12-ranked Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
