Rose's Three-Straight 30+ Point Efforts Rank High in IWU Hoop History

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- When senior guard Brady Rose scored 30+ points in three straight games earlier this season, he joined an elite group of Illinois Wesleyan men's basketball players in the past 50 years who have scored at such a prolific clip over a span of games.

A look at the history books reveals the following, dating back to 1968-69:

2018-19           Rose (34-Calvin, 30-Alma, 33-WashU)
1988-89           Jeff Kuehl (30-Aurora, 32-Elmhurst, 33-Carthage); Kuehl had eight 30+ games in 1988-89 and missed the final five games with a broken hand
1983-84           Blaise Bugajski (38-Carroll, 32-Millikin, 32-Wis.-Whitewater); Bugajski had 10 30+ games in 1983-84
1980-81           Greg Yess (30-DePauw, 32-Quincy, school-record 47-Indiana Central); Yess had six 30+ games in 1980-81
1976-77           Jack Sikma (38-Carthage, 33-North Central, 33-Elmhurst)
                        Sikma (31-St. Augustine, 33-Hawaii-Hilo, 31-Henderson State); Sikma had 10 30+ games in 1976-77
