CHICAGO -- The Illinois Wesleyan women's volleyball team defeated North Park University in straight sets on Tuesday, September 26 en route to a 3-0 (25-20, 26-24, 25-19) victory in College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) action.

Junior Tyler Brown recorded her fourth consecutive double-double with team-highs of 11 kills and 12 digs.

With a victory the No. 16-ranked Titans improved their record to 12-4 (2-0 CCIW) and are currently riding a 10-match winning streak, which is tied with a 10-game streak by the 2009 Titans for longest in program history since the turn of the millennium.

Illinois Wesleyan's No. 16 ranking in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) poll is tied for the highest ranking attained in program history, matching the No. 16 ranking earned in the Sept. 20, 2016 edition of the poll.

A 12-point swing sparked by four consecutive North Park errors gave the Titans a 16-12 lead and the momentum heading into the final points of the match. North Park committed seven errors during the 12-point stretch.

Later in the set IWU had a stretch where they took seven of eight points to muster up a 23-16 lead over the Vikings

Brown was the only member of the team with double-digit kills on Tuesday. Junior Rachel Burkman finished with seven kills while junior Maddie Williams added six and senior Kyleigh Block added five. Sophomore Kira Jackson led the way with 21 assists and freshman Caitlin Meyer collected 10 assists.

Freshman libero Jessica McCall tied Brown for the team-high with 12 digs while Block added 11. Both senior Anne Cummings and freshman Claire Bergman finished with three total blocks. Bergman finished with two solo blocks to Cummings' one.
