NORMAL, Ill. -- The Illinois Wesleyan baseball team lost, 7-5, at Division I Illinois State in the 10th Horenberger-Bass Classic, played at Duffy Bass Field on Wednesday, April 12.
The Titans are 14-8 overall while the Redbirds improved to 10-21. Illinois State leads the Horenberger-Bass Classic series, 8-2, and has an 87-70 advantage in the all-time series dating back to 1890.

Jarrod Juskiewicz, and sophomore leftfielder
John Bosco each had two singles for the Titans. Billington also provided two RBI.
Starting pitcher
Mike Plecki (1-1), the first of six IWU hurlers, took the loss, going the first three innings and allowing five runs (three earned) on five hits.
