BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan women's and men's basketball teams play College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin games on Wednesday, Feb. 15, with the women hosting the Elmhurst Bluejays at 7 p.m. and the men traveling to face Wheaton College, also with a 7 p.m. tipoff.

THE GAME: The Illinois Wesleyan women's basketball team (16-6, 11-2 CCIW) looks to avenge an earlier-season loss when it hosts Elmhurst College (18-5, 10-4 CCIW) at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15 … Both teams, along with Wheaton, have already secured spots in the CCIW postseason tournament.
 
TITAN WOMEN'S HOOP NOTES: IWU has won six straight and 11 of the last 12 ... IWU is seventh of 440 NCAA D-III teams in scoring (79.5), 10th in turnovers forced per game (25.14) and seventh in turnover margin (9.41) ... Molly McGraw is No. 13 all-time at IWU with 1,102 career points (72 games). The all-time record is 1,632 by Traci Butler (102 games, 1992-96) ... Rebekah Ehresman ranks No. 32 in scoring (839), No. 21 in 3-pointers (72), No. 16 in free throws (199), No. 27 in rebounds (407), No. 19 in offensive rebounds (156) and No. 17 in assists (211) ... Amanda Kelly ranks No. 7 in the nation for assist-to-turnover ratio (2.72). Ehresman is right behind Kelly ranking No. 17 nationally for assist-to-turnover ratio (2.28).
 
ABOUT THE BLUEJAYS: Elmhurst has won two straight and 10 of their last 12 ... The Bluejays rank No. 15 in the nation in scoring (77.3), No. 7 in field-goal percentage (45.9), No. 3 in free-throw percentage (78.3), and No. 19 in 3-point field-goal percentage (35.9) ... Mikaela Eppard, who has been CCIW "Player of the Week" three times this year, averages a double-double (20.1 points and 10.6 rebounds) and has scored 30+ three times with 39 vs. North Central ... Kalia Summerlin is one of the best 3-point shooters in the country, shooting 43.4 percent from deep ... Kaela Jones is the Bluejays' only other double-digit scorer at 11.1 points per game.
 
HOME COURT: IWU is 9-2 at home this year and has a 207-69 mark at the Shirk Center... Since 2008, IWU has a home record of 90-25 (.782).
 
COACHES: Illinois Wesleyan's Mia Smith is in her 19th season and has an overall record of 359-155 (.698) with a CCIW mark of 191-71 (.729) ... Tethnie Carrillo has a 142-112 overall record and 74-66 in the CCIW in her 10th season at Elmhurst.
 
THE SERIES: IWU leads Elmhurst, 50-16, in a series dating back to 1981-82. The Bluejays downed IWU, 86-80 on Dec. 10.
 
WHAT'S NEXT: Illinois Wesleyan will celebrate "Seniors' Day" at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18, hosting North Central ... SCOUTING THE THUNDER: Wheaton has won three straight games including a 70-67 win over North Park last Saturday … Wheaton has lost twice to No. 23 Augustana by a total of four points (two 2-point decisions) and lost in two OT at home to North Central  … 6-1 sophomore Astin Francis leads the CCIW with an average of 23.7 points per game, a mark that ranks 11th among all Division III players. He is shooting 46.3 percent (184-397) from the field, including 38.6 percent (80-207) behind the 3-point arc. Francis' school-record 80 3-pointers leads the CCIW and ranks ninth nationally among all Division III players. He also leads the CCIW in steals with 2.27 steals per game, a mark that ranks 34th in Division III … Other Wheaton weapons include 6-3 junior Ricky Samuelson (12.9 points) and 6-3 sophomore Luke Peters (9.8).
 
COACHES: Illinois Wesleyan's Ron Rose is in his 11th season and has a 205-101 overall mark (.669) with a CCIW ledger of 97-56. Rose is third in wins at IWU, behind Dennie Bridges (667-319, 1965-01) and Jack Horenberger (264-212, 1945-65). Rose got his 200th career win at home vs. Wheaton on Jan. 7 ... In his eighth year at Wheaton, Mike Schauer has a 135-79 overall mark (62-49 CCIW). He is No. 9 on Wheaton's all-time 3-pointer list and No. 8 on the school's career assists list.
 
THE SERIES: Illinois Wesleyan has won nine of the last 10 vs. Wheaton, has an 81-44 lead in the series (since 1946) and has won 32 of the last 39 played in Bloomington since 1979, including an 84-75 decision at the Shirk Center on Jan. 7. Francis riddled the Titans for 28 first-half points and 39 overall in that game, a total that is second mist by an opposing player at the Shirk Center ...
