BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan men's and women's basketball teams will be have home games this weekend against quality, nationally-recognized competition with the women hosting Wisconsin-Stevens Point on Saturday and the men hosting No. 11-ranked Washington U. on Sunday.

THE GAME: The Illinois Wesleyan men's basketball team (7-1) hosts No. 11-ranked Washington U.-St. Louis (7-1) at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17 at the Shirk Center.
ABOUT ILLINOIS WESLEYAN: Of 416 teams, IWU is 35th in D-III stats with 10.5 3-pointers per game, 27th in scoring (87.9) and No. 3 with a 1.68 assist/turnover ratio. The Titans are fifth with just 10.0 turnovers per game ...

THE SERIES: Dating back to 1933, IWU leads the WashU series, 22-16. The Titans have won two straight, four of the last five, and the teams are 10-10 in the last 20 games.

THE SERIES: Dating back to 2004, UW-Stevens Point holds a 7-5 advantage over the Titans. Illinois Wesleyan has lost each of their last two meetings against the Pointers including a 62-58 defeat last season. This is their 10th straight season meeting one another.
