With a loss the Titans fell to 6-4-1 on the season and 1-1-0 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW). North Park improved to 9-1-0 with a spotless 4-0 record in CCIW play.
IWU was out-shot in the first half 13-1 and were out-shot by the Vikings by a 24-6 mark overall. Senior

- An own goal did the Titans in during the first half, the only goal they surrendered in the first 60Â minutes of action.
- Illinois Wesleyan continued to hold the No. 17-ranked Vikings scoreless until the 61st minute when Marrion Alvaro scored his first of two rebound goals during Wednesday's contest.

This Saturday, Oct. 7 the Titans will "Play For The Cure" in a home men's and women's double-header against Elmhurst College. Elmhurst currently holds a record of 6-3-2 with a 2-1 record in the CCIW after losing to North Central by a final score of 3-0 on Tuesday night. The men's soccer team is set to kick-off from Neis Field at 3:30 p.m.
