Sydney Pinder scored the first goal of her IWU career at the 81:05 mark prior to sophomore
Jordan Ellerbrock tickling the twine at 81:15.Â
With a win the Titans conclude regular season play with a record of 15-3 overall and 7-1 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW). North Central finishes the season with an overall record of 8-8-1 and a 4-4 mark in CCIW competition.
Despite a scoreless first half, the Titans managed seven shots against the Cardinal back line, including five shots on goal. Illinois Wesleyan's defense held North Central without a shot in the first.
IWU continued to pour in shots on goal throughout the second half, finishing with eight total shots and five more on goal. For the content, IWU finished with a 15-2 shot advantage. The Titans also held a 7-0 advantage for corner kicks taken during the match. Defensively, Illinois Wesleyan held North Central without a shot until the 69th minute of action.
Eventually the Titans broke through North Central's stout defense with late goals from Pinder and Ellerbrock. After resetting the field after Pinder's goal, Ellerbrock took advantage of a ball that NCC's keeper couldn't handle just 10 seconds later.

Kelli McCarthy made just one save on the afternoon. North Central's Mollie Fisher allowed two goals and made eight saves.

Cassie Leishman led the Titans with four shots on goal, followed by sophomore's Ellerbrock,
Ellie Crabtree,
Flower Edington,
Kaitlyn Chen, and freshman
Cameron Hindel, and Pinder. Both shots from the Cardinals came by way of Lexi Dimovski.

The Titans will play host to an undecided opponent in the CCIW conference tournament at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 1.
