BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- Illinois Wesleyan got its second straight shutout in the young 2016 men's soccer season in a 4-0 win over Lakeland University at Neis Field on Sunday, Sept. 4.
The Titans are 2-0-0 and the Muskies slipped to 0-2-0.

Ryan Kaplan got on the board at 13:32 with his second goal of the season after an assist from
Dino Karas. Freshman
Doug Ballard collected his first goal of the year at 36:24 when he knocked in a ball off his own rebound.

Joey Delbert scored at 60:40 on an assist by freshman
Patrick Hickey and freshman Kobe Carreno notched his first college goal at 63:25 with an assist to sophomore

IWU outshot Lakeland, 21-11 and had 12 shots on goal to seven for the Muskies. Sophomore
Eddie Sanchez played the first half in goal and made three saves while freshman
Alex Ruckstaetter made four saves in the final 45 minutes.
