BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- Illinois Wesleyan and Monmouth College battled to a 0-0 deadlock through two overtimes on Monday, Sept. 5, at Neis Field in Bloomington.
The Titans are now 2-0-1 this season while Monmouth College is 0-2-1.
IWU tagged 19 shots compared to seven for the Fighting Scots and the Titans had seven shots on goal, all saved by Chase Stroud, who played the entire 110 minutes.

Alex Ruckstaetter made two saves in playing the final 65 minutes of the match.

Illinois Wesleyan looks to get back in the win column and will play at the University of Dubuque at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10.
