IWU Women's Soccer "Pink Zone" Game Set for Saturday

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The annual "Play for the Cure Pink Zone women's soccer game to raise money and awareness for breast cancer will be Saturday, Oct. 1, when Illinois Wesleyan hosts Carroll at 4 p.m. at Neis Field.

All donations and proceeds will go to support the Bloomington-Normal Community Cancer Center.

Concessions will be available for sale, along with tee-shirts and there will be a postgame "meet and greet" with the IWU team.

As part of the Homecoming weekend, Illinois Wesleyan comes into its first College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin match of the season with a 3-4-2 record while the Pioneers come in on a six-game unbeaten streak. Carroll is 0-0-1 in the league after a 2-2 tie with North Park and 7-2-1 overall.
