BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The No. 21-ranked Illinois Wesleyan volleyball team racked up a 3-0 win over visiting North Park (25-19, 25-17, 25-16) at the Shirk Center on Tuesday, Sept. 27.
The Titans improved to 10-4 overall and 2-0 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin while the Vikings slipped to 5-13 overall and 0-2 in the league.
The Titans hit .261 for the match with 48 kills on 119 attacks with 17 errors while the Vikings were limited to an .077 hitting percentage with 26 kills in 104 swings with 17 errors.
Sophomores
Rachel Burkman and
Tyler Brown led IWU with 12 kills each while junior
Kyleigh Block provided eight and junior
Anne Cummings had six.
Senior
Colleen Rynne led IWU with 21 set assists and freshman
Kira Jackson added 20. Brown had 16 digs and Block added 14 to pace IWU defensively while freshman starting libero
Raina Emery had 13.
