SPRINGFIELD, Ill. -- Playing with an altered lineup, the Illinois Wesleyan women's tennis team lost a 9-0 decision to NCAA Division II Illinois Springfield on Sunday, Sept. 11, in Springfield.

An injury to senior Dana Dray, IWU's No. 2 singles player and part of the No. 1 doubles team, forced coach Ric Zamudio to switch some player positions against the Prairie Stars.

Illinois Wesleyan, now 1-2 this season, defeated Lewis & Clark Community College, 9-0, in a scrimmage on Sunday afternoon.
