MEQUON, Wis. -- A 5-5 halftime stalemate turned into a 15-8 victory for the Illinois Wesleyan men's lacrosse team over Concordia University-Wisconsin at Fitting Field in Mequon, Wis. on Wednesday, April 6.

The Titans are now 8-3 this season wrapping up their non-conference games while the host Falcons slipped to 6-3.

IWU and Concordia traded the first four goals of the game before the Falcons opened up a 5-2 lead with 10:31 remaining in the second quarter. Illinois Wesleyan closed the gap before halftime, scoring three straight goals to knot the game at five.

In the second half, Concordia opened the scoring by netting a goal just two minutes into the frame before the Titans rattled off five straight goals to open up a 11-7 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
