NORMAL, Ill. -- The Horenberger-Bass Classic featuring Illinois Wesleyan and Illinois State was cancelled due to rain in the bottom of the second inning at Duffy Bass Field on Wednesday, April 20.

The game was originally scheduled for IWU before being moved to ISU early in the afternoon.

The Titans put three runs on the board in the second inning as freshman Ben Manski led off with a single. With one out, junior catcher Pat Mollo was hit by a pitch and freshman Stephen Billington singled home Manski. Freshman Jonathan Broadbear grounded out to the pitcher to score Mollo and send Billington to second and a single down the leftfield line by freshman John Bosco drove in Billington.
