MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- The Illinois Wesleyan baseball team managed only five hits in losing a 4-3 decision at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn., on Wednesday, March 16.
The Titans are 4-4 after their third straight loss while the Lynx improved to 13-9.

Jarrod Juskiewicz to second. After Juskiewicz advanced to third on a wild pitch, sophomore designated hitter
Brian Johnson walked to load the bases.
Mitch Pfeiffer delivered a pinch hit sacrifice fly to score Juskiewicz. Freshman rightfielder
John Bosco walked to load the bases again before freshman
Jonathan Broadbear singled to leftfield to bring home Mardis. Sophomore second baseman
Gino Cavalieri was hit by a pitch and brought in Johnson before a strikeout ended the inning.
Junior righthander
Sean Coonan (0-1) was the starting pitcher and went six innings, allowing four runs on seven hits with two walks and four strikeouts.
Nick Huskisson and
Nick Brune each worked a shutout inning of relief.
Shortstop Bill Munson had three hits and scored two runs to lead the Lynx and starter Daniel Kurtzer got his first career college win, pitching 6 1/3 innings, striking out three and allowing three runs on three hits.
