JACKSON, Miss. -- The Illinois Wesleyan baseball team lost for the second straight day, dropping a 7-2 decision to Belhaven University in Jackson, Miss., on Tuesday, March 15.
The Titans are 4-3 overall while the Blazers improved to 10-4.
IWU scored both its runs, unearned, in the fifth inning to tie the game at 2-2. With one out, freshman shortstop
Jonathan Broadbear singled up the middle. After a line out by sophomore
Gino Cavalieri, junior
Jarrod Juskiewicz reached on a throwing error by the Blazers' shortstop, sending Broadbear to third. Junior catcher
Pat Mollo then doubled to left center to chase home the two runs.

Matthew Mardis all hitting singles.
The Titans allowed two runs in the bottom of the fifth to fall behind 4-2 and three more in the seventh. Sophomore
Ben Rashid (0-1) was the starting pitcher, working the first five innings and allowing four runs on nine hits with three walks and a strikeout.
