JACKSON, Miss. -- A four-game winning streak was snapped as the Illinois Wesleyan baseball team dropped a 6-1 decision at Millsaps College in Jackson, Miss., on Monday, March 14.

The Titans are 4-2 overall and the Majors improved to 9-8.

Sophomore second baseman Gino Cavalieri had three of Illinois Wesleyan's six hits, including a double for the only extra-base knock. Junior catcher Pat Mollo, sophomore Mike Plecki and freshman rightfielder Jacob Houghton all had singles.

Plecki was the starting pitcher and took the loss, working the first 3 1/3 innings and allowing three runs (one earned) on four hits with four walks while striking out four batters.
