JACKSONVILLE, Ill. -- The Illinois Wesleyan baseball team took a pair of nonconference games from Blackburn College on Friday, March 11, at Lenz Field in Jacksonville, Ill.
The Titans (3-1) won the first game 8-0 and took the nightcap 11-4 over the Beavers, who slipped to 0-9.
In game one, junior righthander
Nick Huskisson improved to 2-0 as he struck out 10 and scattered four hits. Senior
Matthew Mardis had a two run home run and junior
Jarrod Juskiewicz clubbed a grand slam.

Pat Mollo each had two hits in the Titans' 12-hit attack.
Illinois Wesleyan had 14 hits in game two to offensively support freshman righthander
Nick Brune (1-0), who went the first five innings on the mound, followed by three relievers.
Mollo had two hits in the nightcap as did freshman shortstop
Jonathan Broadbear, sophomore outfielder
Mike Plecki, freshman rightfielder
Jacob Houghton and senior centerfielder
Adam Glogovsky. Mardis, Mollo, Plecki and Houghton all hit doubles and Broadbear legged out a triple.
What's Next?The Titans face Blackburn in a single game on Saturday, March 12 at 11 a.m. before heading South on the spring break trip. On Tuesday in Jackson, Miss., IWU will meet Belhaven at 4 p.m. and Millsaps at 7:30 p.m.
