Brady Rose led four players in double figures with a career-high 18 points to pace the Titans in an 86-65 season-opening win over Dominican (Ill.) at the Shirk Center on Tuesday, Nov. 15.

Trevor Seibring added 15 and senior
Alec Bausch scored 12 with a game-high 11 rebounds. Rose contributed five assists and Stempel had four.
Illinois Wesleyan held a 49-37 edge in rebounds and committed only seven turnovers while forcing 13. The Titans never trailed in the game and the issue was tied for 1:39 with the Titans leading the remaining 38:21.
IWU built up a large advantage in the first half, leading 45-21 at halftime and leading by a game-best 30 points at 17:37 to play in the game (53-23).
Illinois Wesleyan was 28 of 75 from the field and made 12 of 38 3-pointers. The 75 field goals attempted is tied for second most in an IWU game and the 38 3-point attempts is also second most in a game. The records are 76 shots (Hope, March 3, 2012) and 39 3-point attempts (Austin, Nov. 29, 2014).
The Stars, who outscored IWU 44-41 in the second half, were led by 14 points from Josh Mayberry and 12 from Tim Robertson.
