TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - In a game that featured five yellow cards and one red card, the Illinois Wesleyan men's soccer team battled back from a 2-0 deficit 28 minutes into the game to come away with a 2-2 draw at Rose-Hulman on Sunday, Sept. 27.
The Titans are now 3-4-2 on the year while RHIT is 5-2-2.
After giving up goals in the fifth (4:18) and 28th (27:11) minutes, IWU responded with a goal from freshman
Mason Maier at the 41:12 mark with the assist being credited to
Sam LaLonde. Trailing 2-1 at halftime, IWU broke through in the second half in the 83rd minute when freshman
Joey Delbert found the back of the net off a
Blake Tempel assist to knot the score at two. Neither team would be able to get another shot into the back of the net, playing to a draw after 120 minutes of action.Â

Craig Kym split time in net for the Titans, with Eklin playng the first 45 minutes before Kym played the final 65 minutes in goal.Â
