BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- Leading by a 1-0 score at halftime, the Illinois Wesleyan women's soccer team scored three goals in the first eight minutes of the second half and got a 4-0 win over Central (Iowa) at Neis Field on Sunday, Sept. 13.

The No. 4-ranked Titans are now 6-0 while the Dutch slipped to 3-2.

IWU's first and only first half goal came from senior
Tess Bottorff at 16:05 on an assist from senior
Sydney Fox.

After intermission, Fox scored at 49:05 on an assist from Bottorff before junior
Skyler Tomko registered her fourth goal of the season at the 51:10 mark, again with an assist from Fox.

Just more than a minute and a half later at 52:16, Bottorff headed one into the net for her second goal of the match with the third assist of the day from Fox.

Illinois Wesleyan's defense was again stingy, allowing only seven shots while taking 25. Two IWU goalies - freshman
Katie Denney (68:40) and junior
Dana Jourdan (21:20) – combined on the shutouts and were forced to make only one save. Illinois Wesleyan had 15 shots on goal.
