Box Score 2 CHICAGO, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan baseball team got 27 hits and scored 22 runs in sweeping a doubleheader by scores of 10-2 and 12-5 at North Park in Chicago on Tuesday, March 31.

The Titans are 13-4 overall and 5-0 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin and North Park is 10-11 overall and slipped to 0-5 in the CCIW.

In the first game win, the Titans had 10 hits and took advantage of five Viking errors, scoring three unearned runs. Illinois Wesleyan posted three runs in the second and seventh with solo runs in the third and eighth and two in the ninth.

Jarrod Juskiewicz and sophomore rightfielder
Nick Huskisson each had two hits with Huskisson providing a double for the team's only extra base hit.

Kyle Snedeker (1-0) pitched five scoreless innings and allowed five hits while striking out five and walking one.

Pat Mollo deposited a three-run home run over the leftfield fence to make it 3-0 after three hitters. Mollo finished with four hits, including two doubles, and three RBI. Junior first baseman
Matthew Mardis had three hits and three RBI while Coonan, Idstein, Juskiewicz and Juskisson each had two hits.

Vikings closed to within three at 8-5 after seven before IWU got four doubles and scored three in the eighth to go up 11-5.

Sean Coonan was the starting pitcher and went 4 2/3 innings, allowing one earned run on two hits with two strikeouts. Freshman lefty
Ben Rashid went 1 1/3 hitless, scoreless innings in relief and struck out two.

What's Next?Winners of five straight, the Titans play North Central (10-9 overall, 3-2 CCIW) at 5 p.m. Friday, April 3 at Horenberger Field. The Cardinals swept a home doubleheader against Millikin on Tuesday.
