2015 CCIW Volleyball Tournament WebsiteDECATUR, Ill. -- The Illinois Wesleyan volleyball team, making its first College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin tournament appearance since 2007, never got untracked in a three-set loss to Carthage College in the tourney semifinals in Decatur, Ill., on Friday, Nov. 6.
The No. 24-nationally ranked Titans (22-9) lost by scores of 20-25, 19-25, 24-26 to the Lady Reds, who are 30-7 and ranked No. 13 nationally. Carthage has won seven straight matches by set scores of 21-4 since losing at home to the Titans in five sets on Oct. 23.
Freshman 
Tyler Brown led IWU with 10 kills and had 12 digs while sophomore 
Anne Cummings provided eight kills and sophomore 
Kyleigh Block had seven kills with 11 digs. As a team, the Titans hit .150 with 40 kills and 22 errors in 120 total swings. Carthage had a .204 hitting mark with 41 kills and 18 errors in 113 attacks.
Junior 
Colleen Rynne had 18 set assists and freshman 
Leah Seielstad had 15 and senior 
Mary Rankin led the team with 13 digs.
Freshman 
Heidi Dague led Illinois Wesleyan with four blocks with Block and Rynne each getting one. Freshman 
Rachel Burkman, who had seven kills, had the team's only service ace.
