BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- A 1-0 win over Elmhurst on "Seniors' Day" gives the No. 8-ranked Illinois Wesleyan women's soccer team at least a share of the 2015 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin title at Neis Field on Saturday, Oct. 24.
The Titans, now 16-1-0 overall and 6-0-0 in the CCIW, have the league championship for the second time in school history and the first time since 2008. The Bluejays are 7-5-2 and 2-3-0 in the league.
The only goal in the game came from senior
Sydney Fox at 27:11 on an assist from junior
Amanda Kaiser. The goal is Fox's 11th of the season.
Illinois Wesleyan outshot Elmhurst, 15-9, but the Bluejays had six shots on goal to five for the Titans. Freshman keeper
Katie Denney made all six saves.

What's Next? Illinois Wesleyan has a week to prepare for their final regular season game of the year against North Central on Saturday, Oct. 31 in Naperville, Ill. The win over Elmhurst means Illinois Wesleyan will host a first-round conference tournament match on Wednesday, Nov. 4, with the opponent and time to be determined.
