WHEATON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan men's soccer team was limited to just six shots total, dropping a 4-0 decision to Wheaton at Joe Bean Stadium in Wheaton on Saturday, Oct. 17.
The Titans slipped to 5-7-2 overall and 1-3 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin while the host Thunder improved to 8-4-2 and 3-1 in the CCIW.
Wheaton opened the scoring in the 17th minute (16:42) when Marshall Holingsworth found the back of the net on a penalty kick to put the host Thunder up 1-0. Wheaton netted three second-half goals including two in the first five minutes of the period to put any Titan hopes of a comeback to rest.

What's Next?IWU will look to pick up their fourth home victory of the year with a 7:30 p.m match against Millikin on Wednesday, Oct. 21. The Big Blue were 9-3 overall and 0-2 in the CCIW heading into a match with Elmhurst on Saturday.
