Box Score BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - A goal by senior
Colin Rathe with less than eight minutes to play was the difference as the Illinois Wesleyan men's soccer team downed Alma, 1-0, to win the "Clash of the Titans" tournament at Neis Field on Sunday, Sept. 7.
The Titans improved to 2-2-0 this season while the Scots slipped to 1-1-2.
Rathe got his third goal of the year on an assist from senior
Jared Krebs and junior
Jimmy Connolly at 82:29 for the game's only scoring. The Titans outshot Alma, 15-11, and had five shots on goal compared to seven for the Scots.

What's Next?Illinois Wesleyan plays at Benedictine on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 7 p.m. Benedictine was a 2-0 winner over Wisconsin-Platteville in the other "Clash of the Titans" game at Neis Field Sunday.
