BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan volleyball team evened its record at 3-3 with a pair of wins over Greenville and Ohio Northern at the Barker Chevrolet Classic I on Friday, Sept. 5, at the Shirk Center.

The Titans beat Greenville 23-25,25-18,25-14,25-22, then topped Ohio Northern by scores of 25-22,23-25,25-22,25-19.

In the night match against Ohio Northern, freshman Kyleigh Block had 23 kills, tied for third most in a four-set match at Illinois Wesleyan. The record of 26 is shared by Katie Butson (Elmhurst; Oct 18, 2007) and Beth Crowley (St. Norbert, Oct 4, 2003) and Block is tied at 23, also done by Butson (Washington (Mo.); Oct 27, 2006).

Senior Maddie Greybar had 14 kills and a team-high 18 defensive digs while senior Kinzie Schweigert added nine kills and freshman Anne Cummings had eight.

Sophomore Colleen Rynne paced IWU with 26 set assists and freshman Nicole Bing had 25 along with 14 digs. In addition to the kills, Block also had 14 digs.
