WHITEWATER, Wis. - A goal by Wisconsin-Whitewater's Brianna Reid at the 7:25 mark held up as the only scoring as the Warhawks topped No. 25-ranked Illinois Wesleyan women's soccer 1-0 in Whitewater, Wis., on Wednesday, Sept. 17.

Both teams now have 5-2-0 records as the nonconference loss snapped an Illinois Wesleyan five-game wiinnng streak.

Illinois Wesleyan led the Warhawks in shots, 12-4, and both teams had three shots on goal.

IWU sophomore goalkeeper Dana Jourdan made two saves.

Illinois Wesleyan hosts Transylvania at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20, in a rematch of last season's first round NCAA Division III playoff game that was won by IWU, 3-0.
