Dan Truesdale worked a hitless, scoreless ninth as the Illinois Wesleyan baseball team took a 3-1 win at Elmhurst on Friday, May 2.
With the win, the Titans improved to 19-16 overall and 12-7 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin while the Bluejays slip to 15-20 overall and 9-10 in the league.
The Titans hammered out 11 hits and left 12 men on base while the Bluejays, who came into the game with the third-best batting average among CCIW teams, were limited to a single and a double against Johnson (5-2), who struck out 10 and walked three.
