Box Score BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – Completing a three-game season sweep of Millikin, the Illinois Wesleyan baseball team defeated the Big Blue, 10-3, at Horenberger Field Wednesday, April 9.
The Titans are now 14-8 on the season and 8-1 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin, while Millikin is 5-16 overall and 1-8 in the league.

The Titans scored two more runs in the fourth to lead 3-0 as junior

Jake Capko singled to right center.
The Titans scored three runs on no hits in the fifth inning by way of three straight walks with the bases full of Titans. Frericks, Mollo, and Juskiewicz each crossed home to extend the lead to 6-0.
IWU scored three more runs in the sixth to make it a 9-1 lead. Senior
Bobby Czarnowski scored on Frericks's double to right center. Frericks scored on a Hahn single and Hahn came home on a base hit by Juskiewicz.
Leading 9-3 in the bottom of the seventh, Czarnowski homered to deep right field to give IWU the final margin of 10-3.
IWU freshman starting pitcher
Sean Coonan (1-0), the first of four Titan hurlers, was credited with the win, as he struck out nine including six in a row in one stretch. He went 5 2/3 innings and allowed one earned run on two hits with three walks.
What's Next?The Titans will host Augustana on Saturday, April 12, for a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. at Horenberger Field.
