Baseball Loses 11-3 Game at Christian Brothers

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Illinois Wesleyan baseball team surrendered two runs in the first and three in the second and could never mount a rally, losing an 11-3 decision to Christian Brothers University at Nadicksbernd Field  in Memphis, Tenn., on Thursday, March 13.

The Titans are 3-3 with their third straight loss while Christian Brothers is 5-14.

Tim Coonan had two of the eight IWU hits. Four Titan hurlers allowed 11 hits with six walks and two wild pitches. Freshman Nick Huskisson took the loss, going the first 1 2//3 innings, allowing three hits with four walks.

What's Next?
IWU moves up to Terre Haute, Ind., where they play in a tournament hosted by Rose-Hulman. The frequently-revised schedule now shows the Titans playing at Rose-Hulman at 8 p.m. ET on Friday (March 14), then meeting Concordia University Chicago at 4 p.m. ET on Saturday (March 15) and Alma College at 10 a.m on Sunday (March 16).
Some of the games were to have been played at Indiana State's field, but has been deemed unplayable.
