Titan Men's Hoops Rolls Over Cardinals

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – After a strong second half offensive performance, the Illinois Wesleyan men's basketball team extended its win steak to four games thanks to an 80-68 victory over North Central College, Wednesday (Feb. 12) evening at Merner Field House.
 
IWU improves to 19-3 on the season and 9-2 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin, while the Cardinals drop to 12-11 and 5-7 in the league.
 
Junior Jordan Nelson led the Titans with 18 points, as junior Dylan Overstreet contributed 17 points and six rebounds.
 
While the first half remained close, with the Titans going into the break only up by one point, 32-31, IWU jumped away with the game going 28-for-50 from the field and outscoring the Cardinals 48-37 in the second.
