NAPERVILLE, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan volleyball team lost the first two sets, came back to win the next two, but lost the decisive fifth set at North Central on Wednesday, Nov. 5. The Titans' season ends with a 20-12 record.
Illinois Wesleyan, who finished 3-4 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin, lost to the Cardinals by scores of 23-25, 19-25, 25-17, 25-22, 13-15. North Central's season ends with a 20-14 overall record and a 2-5 CCIW ledger.
Freshman
Kyleigh Block had a team-high 18 kills and 16 digs with two blocks while senior
Maddie Greybar had 15 kills and 13 digs. Freshman
Maisy Bowden had six blocks with 10 kills, sophomore
Emily Knowles had five blocks with seven kills and senior
Kinzie Schweigert had four total blocks. Freshman
Anne Cummings also gave IWU eight kills.

Nicole Bing had 26 assists and also had a team-high 16 digs and
Colleen Rynne provided 21 set assists.
Junior
Mary Rankin led IWU with 20 digs and had nine assists.
The game was very even statistically as IWU had a total of 60 kills in 186 attempts and had a .199 hitting percentage while the Cardinals had 61 kills in 180 tries and hit .183. North Central had 15 total blocks to 12 for IWU.
