BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan volleyball team swept a three-set match against North Park, 25-16, 25-16, 25-23, at the Shirk Center on Wednesday, Oct. 8.

The Titans improved to 10-9 and 1-2 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin while the Vikings slipped to 8-13 and 0-2 in the CCIW.

Sophomore Maisy Bowden and freshman Anne Cummings got 10 kills each while freshman Kyleigh Block got nine kills with three blocks and 15 digs. Sophomore Emily Knowles also got nine kills for IWU, who hit .262 in the match,

Freshman Nicole Bing had 22 assists with 12 digs and sophomore Colleen Rynne had 17 while junior Mary Rankin had 16 defensive digs. Senior Maddie Greybar also had 11 digs.

What's Next?
Illinois Wesleyan plays in a tournament in Lexington, Ky., hosted by Transylvania University, which is IWU's first opponent on Friday night at 7 p.m. On Saturday, Wesleyan will face Asbury at 12:30 p.m. and Otterbein at 2:30 p.m.
