BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan volleyball team dropped their first match since October 11, losing in five sets against No. 19 Millikin on Wednesday, Oct. 29.

IWU falls to 16-11 and 3-3 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin with the loss while the visiting Big Blue improve to 28-5 and 5-1 in CCIW play.

After dropping the first set 25-21, the Titans rebounded to win sets two and three, 27-25 and 25-19, respectively. Millikin then won a back-and-forth fourth set 25-19 before closing out the match in the fifth set 15-8.

Freshman Kyleigh Block led all scorers with a career-high 24 kills, eclipsing her previous high of 23 against Ohio Northern. Senior Maddie Greybar had 12 kills and seven defensive digs on senior night, while sophomore Colleen Rynne and freshman Nicole Bing had 24 and 21 set assists, respectively.

What's Next?
Illinois Wesleyan will host the Barker Chevrolet Classic III on October 31-November 1, with the first match against Illinois College at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31. The Titans will then play Central College at 7:30 p.m. later that night.
