Box Score ELMHURST, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan men's soccer team got in an early hole, trailing 3-0 after 28 minutes, and lost a 4-1 match at Elmhurst's Langhorst Field on Saturday, Oct. 25.
The Titans are 7-11-0 overall and 1-5-0 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin as Elmhurst improved to 10-3-3 overall and 3-1-1 in the CCIW.
Trailing 4-0, Illinois Wesleyan's only goal came at 81:57 from
Dino Karas, a one-on-one chance after an assist pass from
Robert Spenard.
The Titans outshot Elmhurst 12-10 and both teams had six shots on goal. IWU keepers
Mark Streid and
Erick Eklin had one save each and allowed two goals apiece.
