WHEATON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan volleyball team evened its College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin record at 2-2 with a three-set win (25-17,25-22,25-18) at Wheaton on Wednesday, Oct. 15.

The Titans are now 13-10 overall while the Thunder is 7-16 overall and 2-1 in the CCIW.

Freshman Anne Cummings led IWU with nine kills while sophomore Emily Knowles had eight kills with three blocks. Freshman Maisy Bowden added seven kills with two service aces and a block. As a team IWU hit .165 with 38 kills in 109 with 20 errors.

Freshman Nicole Bing had 20 set assists and sophomore Colleen Rynne turned in 14 while the Titans were paced by sophomore Loryn Bruer with 12 digs and freshman Kyleigh Block had eight digs and five kills.

IWU has a week away from matches before playing again, hosting Elmhurst at the Shirk Center on Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 7 p.m.
