Box Score KENOSHA, Wis. - Despite holding a 17-3 advantage in shots and a 7-2 advantage in corner kicks, the No. 22 ranked Illinois Wesleyan women's soccer team fell 2-1 at Carthage College on Saturday, Oct. 11.
The Titans are now 9-3-0 and 1-1-0 in the CCIW while the host Lady Reds pick up their sixth win of the season to improve to 6-7-0 and 1-1-0 in the CCIW.
After playing a scoreless first half, IWU broke through on sophomore
Sarah Trach's third goal of the season in the 56th minute (55:57). The Lady Reds would come up with an equalizer at the 72:18 mark before taking the lead in the 83rd minute (82:44). The Titans would only be able to muster one shot in the final seven minutes to find themselves on the wrong end of the 2-1 setback.

Dana Jourdan made made one save. IWU outshot Carthage 9-3 in shots on goal, and finished 3-1 on their four match road trip.
What's Next?IWU will return home to face North Park University in a midweek CCIW tilt on Wedensday, Oct. 15th at 5 p.m. The Titans will then host No. 7 Wheaton on Saturday, Oct. 18th for Homecoming weekend.
