Titans Lose in Four Sets to William Woods

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - After winning the first set 25-17, the Illinois Wesleyan volleyball team lost the next three sets by identical scores of 25-23 to William Woods at the Shirk Center on Tuesday, Sept. 17.

The Titans have now lost four straight matches and saw their record slip to 6-5 while the Owls, an NAIA squad from Fulton, Mo., improved to 6-9.

"Tonight was a great defensive game on both sides of the court," said IWU head coach Kim Nelson-Brown  "William Woods came up with some great digs at key times. For us, we need to capitalize on the small things right now."
