Adam Flaugher was the lone Titan to score for the men's soccer team against the University of Dubuque Saturday at Oyen Field late Saturday afternoon, where IWU fell to the Spartans, 3-1.

Flaugher scored in the 43
rd minute in a 1-on-1 face-off against Dubuque goalkeeper Jose Resendiz, assisted by
Declan Geraghty, putting the score at an even 1-1.

Before the IWU senior's goal, Spartans' Gonzalo Hernandez scored off a free kick, putting the ball past
Andrew Reed, with 39:50 on the clock. The goal was the first of the game, setting the score at 1-0.

In the second half, Hernandez assisted Dubuque's Cory Winkler in the 59
th minute to steal the lead for the Spartans, 2-1.

Just under five minutes before the buzzer, Dubuque's Jack Stefanski sealed the win with a free kick from near midfield, concluding the score at 3-1.

Reed tallied two saves in his 90-minutes of play, while Resendiz had three saves in the victory.

The Titans (3-2-1) will play tomorrow (Sunday) against Benedictine University at Neis Field in Bloomington, Ill., at 7:30 p.m.
