Box Score
BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -Â The Illinois Wesleyan volleyball team lost in four sets to No. 13-ranked University of Chicago at the Shirk Center on Tuesday, Sept. 10.
The Maroons, who improved to 5-2, won by scores of 25-19, 21-25, 25-22, 25-18. The Titans slipped to 6-2 and had a five-match winning streak snapped.
"Even though we lost, there were some very positive moments in tonight's match," said IWU head coach
Kim Nelson-Brown. "When our passing is in system, our offense is very fast and exciting. We need to build off of tonight and work on some things that Chicago exposed. I believe this team is headed in the right direction."
